The Ford Fiesta Championship incorporates three models of Fiesta, two formerly seen in manufacturer championships. The cars run on slick Dunlop control tyres.

 

Class A consists of the mid-90s Mk3 Fiesta Si's, but with standard 1800cc 130ps Zetec engines out of the Fiesta RS1800 or Escort GTi.

 

Class B cars use a Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S bodyshell with a smaller 1400cc blacktop Zetec powerplant.

 

Class C is for the Fiesta ST running in group N style.

 

The Ford Fiesta Championship gives very good value for money, due to the cheap cost of the bodyshells and engines and the fact that performance modifications are not permitted.

Edward has been racing since 1998, starting in karts. Through his racing career he has won numerous championships and racing events. Ever since he was 14 he has been working with drivers mechanicing and tutoring them to many wins.

2000 Formula Six Cadet Champion, Multiple Club and championship wins.
2001 Formula Six Junior Champion.
2002 Multiple Club Champion.
2003 16th British Junior Max Championship, Multiple Club Championship wins.
2004 6th Senior Max British Championship, Multiple Club wins.
2005 Won prestigious Champion of Champions, 3rd Midland Cup, British Open Champion, Multiple Club Champion.
2006 London Cup Winner, 16th British Senior Max Championship, Mulitple Club wins.
2007 3rd Easykart British Championship, 4th Easykart World Championship.
2008 Won first two rounds of Easykart British Championship.
2010 Competion Car Insurance Ford Fiesta Championship Class A winner and Motorsport News Saloon Driver of the year.
2011 Competion Car Insurance Ford Fiesta Championship Class C 3rd and Brit Car Production Cup winner.

Harry Cockill

Harry started racing karts in 1999, but has worked as a karting mechanic since the age of 14. Amoung his interests are Karting, Football, Basketball, College, Gym. Harry’s motor sport hero is Ayrton Senna - He always gave 110%, no matter what happened.
